A corner kitchen base unit positioned to an external wall keeps getting reoccuring damp/mould on the shelves during the winter months. Any ideas for a cure?

Sadly there is little you can do! You could try putting polystyrene board at the back or keep the doors open. This is about low temperature and poor air circulation, ideal conditions for mould. There are some anti mould paints to paint the inside with, basically try everything till you get an improvement, sorry I couldn't be more spacific .
