Re: wet wall pacthes - As there is no chimney it must be bad plaster repairs. How do I overcome the problem? Full replaster?

Chris Plastow

Suddenly, this year we are experiencing this problem to an unusual degree. If there has ever been a chimney on this wall in the past then waterproof render will be required to 1 metre wider than the previous chimney. If there never was a chimney then defective plaster, not render is responsible, repairs will be required to slightly wider than the patches, with render and minimal plaster+- 1mm max.
