Ideally the paint should be removed by sand blasting but if you are cleaver, an application of silicone will still be absorbed into the leaking areas

Hi, I looked up the enviroseal but it says it can't be used over paint. The stone is overpainted with masonry paint (done by previous occupant) Can't get it off
