Condensation and mould

Posted by Hilary Sard, on
I've just bought a 1970's house which originally had warm air heating, now replaced with radiators, but the ducts are still there and open into the cupboard which smells a bit mouldy, can mould develop in these ducts and what might I need to do - leave the ducts open to the cupboard/rooms (vent grills are still there) or close it all up? The house has quite a bit of condensation - I've bought a dehumidifier & am going to scrub down any mould I can see with dilute bleach, is there anything else I can do? I want to get rid of the mould smell (gives me a headache) I know I'm going to need to do something but can't post jobs until new year
