I have wet/damp patches in my 1950's terraced house. I have been advised that this is caused by a combination of slipped roof tiles, guttering that needs clearing & there are also some areas of pointing that need attending to. I am south westerly facing and the areas of damp take the full force of driving wind/rain! Any ideas on cost to fix this problem? I have been advised not to worry too much as this problem can be completely fixed. It has been suggested that a coating on the bricks would 'solve' the problem? I would appreciate some expert advice as I don't want the problem to get any worse thankyou
