Rainwater coming through top of windows

Posted by Sarah Long, on
Hello. The problem is in the living room where there are 3 windows - 2 are leaking and 1 is fine. Rain water is coming through an old drilled hole which is located in the brick work above the window frame, and the rain seems to be seeping in around the window frames too. On inspection from the outside, we suspect the rain might be seeping in through a ledge which sits above the windows, because some existing work has been done to the ledge which is above the window that doesn’t leak. This has led us to believe that the other 2 windows may be suffering from the same problem which occurred before. We would appreciate any help as we are uncertain about what tradesman to contact for this job.
