I have just moved into a ground floor flat, outside the flat the bricks are damp and full of mould/ moss. Inside the flat in the bedroom the carpet is wet and smells and also the walls are damp at low level; This is the same in the living room as well but we have laminate flooring in there. We have a condensation problem as well through out all the whole flat and we have PIV units in the bedroom and living room however they do not make any difference. Do we have a mixture of condensation damp and low rising damp? How would we get this resolved?
We have only been in this property a week and we was never made aware of this issue by the letting agents nor the landlord.
