In 2012 we had both chimneys removed from the outer side of our semi-detached Edwardian house. Our builder told us the brickwork was spalled and so they had to come down. Since then we have had problems with damp in one of the upstairs bedrooms in line with the chimney breast. I would like someone to fix this but do not know what kind of service to ask for. Please could you advise me?
