I'm looking for an opinion/advice to do with a small damp problem we've got beside our PVC external french doors that were fitted a few years before we moved into our house.
I noticed we had a small amount of localized damp on the skirting and the concrete floor where the door frame meets the return/cavity. I've removed the skirting and have found that i can see into the wall cavity. Should this be the case? If not how would i go about fixing the hole and what should i look out for? Would this be causing the damp?
