I have water ingress from the cavity over the front window on a gable end of a dormer bungalow. The exterior wall is rendered but visibly cracked in several places. Do you recommend re-rendering to make it waterproof or protecting the wall with some form of waterproof cladding. The tiles on the gable look ok and have plastic edge cappings to prevent wind/water ingress, so I do not think the water is getting in there to the cavity.
