I had a new carpet installed recently and damp has started to appear in patches on the carpet but also now on the wall in the bedroom. The carpet feels oily rather than normal water. The carpet company seem to think this is nothing to do with them. I can't seem any issues with brick work or the roofing so I am a little perplexed! Any thoughts would be really appreciated
