I am considering purchasing a property that has been inhabited by a serial smoker for the past 35 years. How confident can I be that I can eradicate the odour as it is currently not livable for a non-smoking family with children. I would like to know if I will need to replaster or whether there are cleaning techniques that will eradicate the smell/toxins.
