Plastering and decorating

I need to get a room redecorated in the next two weeks while my husband is in hospital. This will involve stripping off paper, replastering walls and ceiling as necessary and then painting. Ideally I would like to find one firm to take on the whole job, but I don't know which category to post under, plasterers and renderers or painters and decorators?

I would fully explain the requirements needed when posting this job and put it under Painting & Decorating as you should hopefully get a response from one who would carry out the whole job for you as ourselves Brown Decorators do all this work & am sure fellow brothers of the brush in your area must do like wise

hi lucy decorators to strip then get the plasterer to skim the ceilings and if you lucky it may be possible use lining paper for the rest cutting down your expenses personally i specialize in decor but i have 3 plasterers who work around me so the answer would be post under painters and decorators but specify you may need plastering to be included if necessary feel free to give me a ring im based in north london but i dont mind offering advice cheers darren
