Painting bathroom cork floor

Posted by Alice Smith, on
Hi there, I have a small bathroom, approx 2.5 x 2.5, which has a cork floor originally laid in the 80's. It is glued directly to the concrete and is the natural colour, except a lot grubbier, and frankly too dark and ugly for such a small bathroom. I would like to paint the floor white, but I've read a lot of advice against doing this. Please advise if this is a bad decision, but if not, what is the best process, i.e. prep, paint, sealant etc many thanks
