Wallpaper v painting a wall

Posted by sharon heaps, on
If walls after wallpaper removal are not perfect could we still paint

Declan Rogers

Hi Sharon, It depends on just how bad the surface of the walls are and the standard of finish you require. If you require a top quality finish, you will most likely need to fill and rub down, or maybe skim the walls. If you are looking for a quick fix without preparing the walls, be sure to wash the walls down to remove any wallpaper paste residue. Sugar soap is good for this. I hope your works go well, Declan
