How to cancel job

Posted by Alison Crum, on
Cancelling a job - you have a link to cancel a job that has been posted (after tradesman has been found) but it only links to the job description and there is nowhere to cancel it.

Hi Alison, After checking your account, we can see that your job has been withdrawn as it has been more than three working days since posting it (Jobs are only kept live for three days, until three tradesmen have purchased your job or if cancelled by yourself). For future reference, to cancel your job and take down your job posting, you'll need to log in (here: https://www.ratedpeople.com/log-in) and select ‘My jobs’ from the main navigation. After this, select the job you wish to cancel before clicking the ‘Cancel job’ button. If you're using the Find a Tradesman mobile app, the same process applies, only you'll spot a 'Stop' button in the place of the 'Cancel job'. Just to inform you, your job can only be cancelled from the moment you cancel it, so you may still be contacted by any tradesmen who purchased your job before cancellation. Best Wishes, Josh The Ask An Expert Team
