Render repair, poor paintwork, who to approach to do the work?
Posted by sue hor, on
The bellcast bead supporting the exterior render in several places on my property has rusted, in one place where the garage joins the gable end, a chunk of render has come away. I have been aware of this problem for some time, but didn’t know who to approach to do the remedial work and as a consequence the exterior paintwork is also in a poor state.
I have considered getting a quote from one of the national wall coating firms who would deal with all the work required, but would really prefer to use someone local. I am also considering having the lower half of the house which is brick, rendered to match the top walls. I need this work done before the winter. Plasterer/renderer, painter or property maintenance builder?
