Is it a good idea to paint a upvc door? I am installing a storm door directly in front of my nice turquoise wooden door. I have bought a glass door with central rail but the border is white. the brick around the door is dark grey as are the window frames. the secondary door will provide additional protection from rain and snow and also keep heat in and drafts out.
I ordered a glass door because i do not want to change the appearance, however I fear the white frame will detract from the overall appearance and am considering painting the storm door border and frame dark grey, in keeping with the brick work. i am worried the paint will not stick or flake and come off easily which could look worse than the white frame.
I welcome your advice.
