In a new house & want to paint inside walls.What prep is needed please

Ok so you will need to check the condition of the walls firstly. Scrap out any loose and flakey paint throughout each room (fill if necessary), then sand the walls using P120 and either by hand or with sander. At this stage hoover entire room and then sugar soap all walls thoroughly and allow to dry. Finally wash walls off with clean water. Once dry apply two coats or emulsion.
