Hi Lorraine, You can paint your front door using 2 coats of ZINSSER BULLSEYE 1-2-3 PLUS and then apply 1 or 2 coats depends and the coverage of exterior gloss, just make sure the door is free from dust or any dirt. Thanks Ervin
