Lining paper

Could someone let me know about the good and the bad on using lining paper as a source to prepare the wall to be painted? Many thanks Romy

The good use 1200 paper. Add PVA to the paste. No issues. The bad none if it's done properly

This is only necessary if walls are not in good condition.The lining will give a good base for the wallpaper.Must be crossed line ie hung horizontal
