I would like to know if the damage is cosmetic or if it has caused damage to ceiling. I have a factor but the "tradesmen" that they have sent A) did not complete the work to any standard, left holes in my floor and rather than rendering the wall, which they wre paid from insurance company to do they put up a cheap cladding. I have insurance and due to the past nightmare experience i am insisting i get quotes from reputable tradesmen, which checkable reference's.
