Hi, I can tell you that it would be cheaper to buy new cupboards, the process of painting laminated surface would cost more in paint and labour than to buy a new ikea product. 1/ sand down surface and clean 2/apply 1 coat of adhesive primer paint 3/sand and clean then apply 1 coat of primer 4/ 2 coats of Finnish Don't forget you will need to know the drying times between each coat and to sand each coat so the next coat adheres to The surface otherwise the paint will scratch off.
