How to repair the cracks in my horizontal and vertical wall joints

Hi we always use the plasterboard tape and then skim the edges with the corner trowel using easy fill. In come cases we also use the decorating fillers, but it is important to let the decorating filler (cork) dry over night even if it says one hour dry. Then before painting with emulation paint, we use oil paint first in order to prevent new cracks. Finally, painted with matching paint. It's a bit time consuming, but its the only way to prevent the cracks coming back. Hope that helps.

Hi The way we do it for it not to come back is: (1) put pva glue on the walls where the cracking is you can just use a paint brush to do this (2) use a fibre tape put it over the cracking (3) use a joint filler I use fast set Fill over the fibre tape taking it about 2 inch each side and not leaving any thick edges but making sure no fibre tape is showing (4) fill 2 more times using easy fill then sand down once dry The other way is just fill right on to the cracks but most off the time the will just come back I hope this could help
