We have this brown wooden staircase in our dining room that leads to upstairs. The build quality is okay i.e. no squeaky noise etc. But i feel the style is dated and the entire dining room dont feel very morden or bright. I am not keen on the open risers which allow dusts/dirt droping down.
I have two young kids, dont want to do anything too disruptive to the house. Any Ideas to fresh up and modernise it with minimal cost and disruption?
