Glossing new and old wood

Posted by Khaled Ezzat, on
I am currently glossing new and old wood and have treated both the same. It has been sanded down, washed with sugar soap, dried and then left to dry over 24 hours, applied two coats of primer/undercoat - left for another 24 hours to dry and 1 coat of gloss which has now been left to dry for over 16 hours.. The glossing looks goods and ads expected however, my concern is that i will need another coat. Can someone advise whether this is needed based on what I have already done or if it should be ok as it is? Many thanks

Is it water based primer/ gloss your using? It normally needs more coats. If you think it needs it it probably does

What would you like to do now?
