This sounds like the doors have not been prepared properly, the doors will needs sanding, cleaning down, priming and repainting to get a good finish.

The decorator we had to paint our home all through made a right mess of glossing the doors. The pain began to chip after a week and he said it takes a long time to dry.
we were so upset we didn't get him back, so now they look a proper mess. What is the best way to repair the mess.
