Polystyrene tiles are only stuck to a ceiling, you don’t have to be a decorator to remove these ( we have removed quite a few of these over the years ) this is a job you could do yourself with a bladed scraper, as for the Plastering Your best bet is to read the reviews of some of the spreads on here to sort the good from the bad.
