Hello Michael Price depends on the condition of the work to be painted also what sort of paint you use if you going for a gloss finish it will first need undercoat and then topcoat of gloss if in good condition one coat of satin may be sufficient if you use a good trade paint so normally the painter would like to look at the work before providing a quote
