Getting rid of smell of smoke - simple solution needed!

Posted by Ben Weisz, on
I am considering a small studio flat for rental. The previous tenant was a chain smoker who lived there for about 3 months. The place has not been well aired since and it smells bad, esp. the walls, possibly also the wardrobe. What can I do to remedy this? Does it need to be repainted?

Because it's been a smoker then yes you should repaint 1 to get rid of the smell and 2 the nicotine stains on paint work
