Whole bedroom renovation questions

Posted by David Garner, on
If I am looking to have a whole bedroom renovated is there a correct order to do things in? I need carpentry, electrical and decorating work done - Carpentry: Door fitting Floorboard gap fixed with new boards Floor sanding (about 10' x 10' room) Skirting board paint removed and sanding Electrical: 2 Electrical sockets replaced 2 Light switches replaced Ceiling light and rose replaced Decorating: Walls and ceiling painted Those are the jobs I need done, but no tradespeople have expressed interest in the whole room renovation - is it better to hire 3 different people for a job like this?

Absolutely, you will struggle to find a trades person with expertise in all 3 fields, its best to get 3 separate people in who are professionals in there own field.
