I want to redecorate the bedroom. The old wallpaper had a non paper pattern along the top that was difficult to remove with using the steamer. The wallpaper also had cracks showing through and some paper coming off. A bit of the paper ripped off easily but the rest won't come off using the steamer or wallpaper stripper. Bits of paper come off using the scraper but you have to keep chipping away and it doesn't come off like paper but hard pieces. Any ideas welcome.
