Hi Rachel, Once a tradesperson applies for a job, we send you an email to let you know. That email contains their details and includes a link to their profile with us. The profile has info like their company description, skills, photos of previous work and ratings from homeowners who've previously hired them through us. It would then be down to you to decide whether to hire them based on their profile page and carrying out your own checks (more info in our homeowner checklist at ratedpeople(dot)com/c/homeowner-checklist). If you get more than one response from tradespeople, we would ask that you let the other (up to two) tradespeople know that you've decided to appoint someone else as they pay for the chance to quote.
