Handyman

Posted by Amy Byne, on
Is a handyman able to give a professional finish or are they just better/more experienced than a DIYer?

Hi Amy it will depend on the skills of the handyman but as a general rule they will not be as good as someone who specialises in a particular trade. Best to use handyman for basic jobs but for anything more involved get correct trade in. Ed

Hi Amy, without wanting to discredit anyone my own personal view is that handymen tend to be Jack of all trade characters and master of none! From first hand experience i have had customers having to pay and get a job done again, after having a handyman initially carry out work but making the issue worse. I'm sure there are decent ones around but i would only recommend to get the correct trade in for the correct job and only pay once.
