The dishwasher normally has a securing bracket at the top this sets the gap of the dishwasher. I had one of like this last year, the dishwasher had not been fitted level, and had a gap above the door, this meant that the door popped open when working. It took 12 months for this to show its self and the original fitter did not want to know. Removed and refitted using a baton at the top, making sure level, this sorted it out. Took 1/2 a day to do.
