Wireless alarm batteries

I have a wireless alarm system that needs the lithium batteries replaced. Can I do this myself and do I have to put the alarm on standby to do this? Also, where can I buy these batteries - are they generic sizes etc?

Hi Laura. The batteries can be replaced just like any other battery. If you are competent in changing the battery's in your TV remote you should have no issue in changing the battery's in the Alarm accessories. You should be able to buy them from places like Maplin, take the old battery's in and they should be able to assist you
