What type of professional do I need to assess a (small) bit of damp?

Posted by Lorraine Davis, on
Looking at the list, I guessed "painter/decorator" but I suspect that I need someone else first to actually figure out what's causing the damp & sort that. Who does that? I keep thinking "surveyor" but that's not on the list.

Good afternoon miss Davis The best way to find out about the damp and how far it is , go on the internet and find damp specialists in your area get a phew numbers and phone for a free no obligation damp test . Some company's offer this service to gain work once you find one you are happy and comfortable with go with your gut and commit if the price is good. Good luck and persistence is a good thing. Hi Sarah, If you’d like to find a tradesperson on ratedpeople.com, you can post a job for free under the Trade "Specialist Tradesman" and Skill "Damp Proofing", up to 3 tradespeople will be in touch to provide a quote. Don’t forget to review previous ratings and the profile sites of interested companies. I hope it all goes well. Thanks, Josh Ask an expert team
