Can I put lining paper underneath glitter wallpaper

I have tried everything to smooth my walls down and filled the holes in on my walls with all purpose filler left it to dry overnight then sanded it all down but still all the marks on my wall still comes through my glitter wallpaper ""could I use lining paper underneath my glitter wallpaper. .would totally appreciate it if you could help me with this i have wasted enough rolls of glitter wallpaper by this. .thank you xx

Hi Carol, with regards to your problem you have two options available, either skim the walls or apply lining paper of a suitable grade to ensure maximum coverage, i would recommend 1200 grade as this normally masks many things Thanks Martin Maidstone interiors
