Central Heating Control

Posted by john Willingdale, on
In our large roomed house the heating control thermostat is in the least used of two rooms. I have been told that this room, with the thermostat, has to be heated in order for the heating in the other room to work. As all radiators have thermostatic valves can the thermostat control be disconnected and the heating be regulated with the installed thermostatic valves?. The boiler is a Worcester which heats on demand.

The simplest thing to do would be to purchase a wireless thermostat and have a gas safe engineer install it into the boiler for you and to remove the old one. You can then take the wireless console to any room in your house and set up times for heating etc.
