Can I put a tumble drier behind mirrored wardrobe doors

I have a drier currently in the sore bedroom vented with the hose out of the window. I'm thinking of putting wardrobes with sliding doors all along one side and would like to also pit the drier in there and hide it from view, venting it to the outside through the external wall. I just want to know if this is safe and will all the damp be carried out through the wall vent or will the clothes end up getting damp having the drier in the closed space of the wardrobe?!
