Fit new MDF mesh cover to cupboard doors and paint

I have a set of cupboard doors below shelving in an alcove next to the fireplace. I need to remove the solid MDF panels and fit mesh so that there is ventilation. Inside the cupboard against the wall is the main vent to make the gas fire safe. Need to fit the mesh and paint
