Hi Sean, This is entirely possible but i wouldnt recommend it. Firstly your old wood stops need removed and the door re hinged on the otherside. You would always see the hinge marks and you cant draught proof the door very well, as your door stops help this. Also it would be easier for people to break into your home as they will have better access to the lock/latch.
