Removal of Fake Stone Cladding on Victorian Terrace

Posted by P Davies, on
According to my neighbour there was a disabled man that used to live in the house who decided one day to have the house cladded on the front - there was nothing wrong with the bricks he just decided to have it done. Having spent 8 years on doing up the house the last thing to do is the front. Have removed some of the cladding off the bottom where there are engineering bricks and used brick acid to remove the cement residue. However, I used to hear of firms using chemicals to loosen the bond which can reduce damage to the brickface. Are there any builders/firms out there that do this?
