Bathroom floorboard replacement

Posted by ian swift, on
Hi all, what would be the best way to cut out existing floor boards, and replace with plywood, or chipboard, ready for tiling, the reason for this, is because the floor boards are not sitting level, and I want to reduce the thickness, ready for the tiles, and don't like the idea of stepping up into the bathroom, regards Ian.

If you are going to reduce the thickness of the boarding you will need to do some work the the underfloor You need to make the floor move as one so you may need to double up joists and put lots of noggins in angle use a decoupling membrane before tiling as well as flexible adhesive and grout
