Curtain track bracket repair

Posted by Daniel Nocher, on
Curtain track bracket with two screws (5/8" apart) has come away from brick wall. Tried moving it a few inches but now created one big hole when the holes collapsed into each other. I was thinking of filling the hole with quick drying Polyfilla and redrill holes. Is there a better way?

Recommend fixing a length of planed timber slightly longer than the curtain pole/track, this can be fixed in multiple places and dependant on the damage already caused may cover. Fixing holes can be filled with a two part filler, timber sanded and painted then the curtain pole/track refitted. Hope this helps Jason
