How do I contact the rated tradesperson who has taken my payment and not returned to complete the work?

hi, rated people should have sent you full contact details of the tradesperson who has taken your money contact customer service and see if they can help.

That sounds awfull! Sorry to hear you've had that experience. When working for client I only expect a deposit and the remaining on completion. If your tradesperson works through Rated People they should have a legitimate website on which they should have contact details. You could try and contact citizens advice and ask for advice. Failing that if you can get there name and address you could persue them through the small claims court. Sadly as a tradesman I had the opposite experience to you and had a non paying customer that I had to chase through the small claims process, successfully getting full payment for the work we completed.
