Hi !. I have some retaining patio walls in the garden which have been rendered in the past. I want to carry out some repairs to the rendered surface to make its appearance better, then apply a suitable exterior paint that will provide good waterproofing to the render. Could you recommend how I should approach the job, and also what paint to use ? I am aware of a Sandtex trade product that you apply like a plaster and trowel it smooth. Not sure if this is OTT...it's quite pricey ! Thanks
