Hi anthony, as a decorator, I have done this before on a road and a car park on a variety of surfaces. First the surface must be swept clean, no loose clippings etc, we use a stiff brush or our extractor. We then mark out the lines with tape, and using a blowtorch heat up the coovar line paint until bubbling then torch the surface to give it a key. Then apply two coats of paint, normally have a scaffolding plank to kneel on, then remove tape, give it 48 hours to cure. Hope this helps. Matt.
