Hissing Noise

Posted by Peter Archer, on
We have a hissing noise inside our front wall downstairs. It sounds like water but could be static, it's hard to be sure. I've tried turning off the water but it doesn't stop. I really have no idea what it could be and I was hoping someone might be able to help. Thank you very much!

Turn the water off at the mains shutoff at the front of the property This is not the one in the house but the main shut off for the whole of the property and see if water sound carries on If you have a water meter then shut off at mains inside the house and see if turning if it is then you have a leak if not then turn back on switch off the boiler turn all the water off if it’s turning then you have a leak Hope this helps
