Cooker hood

Posted by Leonie Jones, on
Weve lived in our house for 3 years with a kitchen that has no extractor fan or cooker hood! Finally I need one sorted. Ideally Id like the greasy air to be extracted outside, but our cooker is against our neighbours wall, rather than an outside wall. Is it still possible? I have no idea what I would beed to buy and who Id need to fit

Hi Leonie, You don't necessarily have to vent directly behind and it might be possible to use flat channel ducting above your wall cabinets to an outside wall. If you have cornice this should hide it. We would normally put a flyover at the top of the chimney hood between the cabinets to hide the ducting. I hope this is of some help.
